We have been informed by Scotland’s Chief Dental Officer that as of Wednesday 18th March 2020 all practices in Scotland will be restricted in the dental treatment we are able to provide in order to protect our patients and staff.
We are no longer able to use dental equipment that creates a water spray except in a case of a severe dental emergency. We will still be open for emergency appointments, routine examinations, hygienist appointments (using hand instruments) on low risk, symptom free patients.
Any patient with Coronavirus symptoms suffering from toothache should phone us for advice. Our reception team will be able to assist with any queries.
High risk categories should pay particular attention to this advice. We have been advised high risk patients to cancel any routine appointments. These are the high risk categories:
?If you are aged 70 and over
?If you have underlying health problems
?If you are pregnant
We would like to thank our patients for supporting us in these challenging times and we wish you all the very best.
